SAR 34300 to SAR 34300 covers the range, a fraction of what a comparable BMW or Mercedes sedan asks even a decade older.

Which used Cadillac ATS year should you buy?

Everything on our lot is a 2018, near the end of the model's production run before Cadillac folded the nameplate into the CT4. Condition and service history matter more here than chasing a different year.

Is a used Cadillac ATS reliable?

Judge an ATS on its own mechanical inspection rather than on the segment average. Our inspections find mechanical faults — engine, gearbox, suspension or steering — on 62% of ATS cars, against the 30% we would expect for sport sedans of this age and mileage in the Kingdom. That is a wide gap, and it is about the individual car's history rather than the badge. A BMW 750 at far dearer money is not immune either, showing electrical faults on 17% of cars against the 7% we would expect for large luxury sedans.

Cadillac ATS or BMW 740?

The BMW 740 costs far more but returns a mechanical fault rate of just 11% against the 20% we would expect for the same class of sedan, the opposite pattern to the ATS. The Lexus ES250 is similarly dearer and reports faults on only 4% of cars against the 15% we would expect for large luxury sedans. Both cost multiples of the ATS for that reliability gap.

What to look over on a used Cadillac ATS

  • Full mechanical inspection — engine, gearbox, suspension and steering specifically.
  • Service history from a workshop familiar with the platform.
  • Parts availability before you commit, given how few dealers still stock Cadillac parts here.
  • Suspension bushings and steering components for wear.
  • Panel and paint consistency across all four corners.
