The convertible is the most common body here, which tells you what the badge is bought for — looks rather than transport. Small-car money for something with a personality. A 2023 500 sold at SAR 48,000, and a 2020 500C at SAR 39,000. Asking prices across our Kingdom listings run from SAR 36000 for an early-2010s car up to SAR 63000 for a current-year one.
Are used Fiats reliable in Saudi Arabia?
They need a buyer who reads the report, and the findings say so plainly. Across the Fiats we have inspected in the Kingdom, 20% show a fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering against the 10% we would expect for cars of the same age and mileage here, and 14% carry an electrical fault against the 5% we would expect on the same basis. That is deferred maintenance on a low-value European small car rather than a design flaw — the jobs are small but outstanding. Have them priced before you agree a number.
Do Fiats hold their value in Saudi Arabia?
Better than the running costs would lead you to assume: Fiats average about 58% of their value after five years across the models we can measure. The convertible is why: an open car has a small, steady audience here, and that keeps asking prices firm.
Which used Fiat should you buy?
The 500 is cheapest and easiest to maintain. The 500C is the one people actually want, and its roof deserves five minutes of its own. The 500X is the only one you could sensibly run as a family car.
Fiat or Kia?
A Kia or Nissan small car will be cheaper to service and quicker to sell, with no parts hunting. Neither offers a folding roof, which is the only reason this page ends in a Fiat.
What to check on a used Fiat

- Electrics one by one — windows, roof motor, dash warnings, sensors.
- Roof seals and drains on the convertible, and the headlining for water marks.
