How much does the Lexus IS350 cost in Saudi Arabia?
Two trims. SAR 229,482 buys the Elite (RWD) and SAR 250,757 buys the 350 F-Sport Prestige, and the V6, the gearbox and the rear-drive layout are common to both. The step up is an F Sport chassis and appearance package plus cabin equipment — it changes how the car looks and rides, not how quickly it accelerates.
Which Lexus IS350 trim is the one to buy?
Elite, for most buyers. It is the cheapest route to the V6 and rides more comfortably on its smaller wheels, which matters on long highway stints. The F Sport Prestige is worth the money only if you want the firmer damping, the bodywork and the sports seats; the engine is unchanged, so nobody should buy it expecting more pace.
Lexus IS350 or Lexus ES350?
The IS350 if you enjoy driving. It is the shorter, lighter, rear-driven car, with steering and body control the larger saloon does not attempt to match. The ES350 uses a closely related V6 but is quieter, roomier and much better suited to carrying passengers a long way. If you want the same money in an SUV, look at the NX350.
Does the Lexus IS350 hold its value, and what should you watch for as it ages?
It keeps around 53% of its value after five years, in line with the 53% typical of Saudi saloons of the same age and mileage and a little below the 56% average across the Lexus range here, with about 68% still there at three years. The IS350s CarSwitch inspects in the Kingdom run to a median of around 142,000 km with no significant fault pattern, in keeping with this V6's reputation for longevity. Condition varies far more than mileage does, which is what the inspection report is for.
